Not luhhvedd. But liked, a lot. The characters were quirky, the jokes were funny, the city was New York, and there was a dash of romance in there (well actually more than a dash) what more could I ask for? Caroline was my favorite character. I like the non-main characters, but still have an impact on the story line, in an amusing way. Oh yes those kinda people are my people. I loved the fact that Nick and Norah were so different, but so similar at the same time. I found it cute that they bonded over music, and their uncommon feelings toward a girl. It was good I'd recommend it. It does have a similar feel to Juno, Micheal Cera aside. But even that's a stretch.

The Nanny Diaries

To start off, I just have to say damn you dvd player/dvd/netflix/whatever made this movie's graphics sooo assy. Alright on to the movie. The only reason I kept watching this movie, even though every time the screen itself moved I couldn't tell what the hell was going on (ok done promise) is because I really enjoyed this movie. It was oddly sweet. I was expecting it to be more of a comedy and less of a story with a moral. Although it was pretty funny. I quickly came to love all the quirky characters, especially Annie (maybe that's because I saw a lot of her in me...) Heck I even liked the mom a bit. This is definitely a movie for anyone who has ever had to "deal" with children (ie moms, dads, nannies, babysitters). I will not lie it made me want to see my little goddaughter. I was a little disappointed in the end (*spoiler!!!! I wanted her to see Grover again Ok spoiler done)But other than my trivial complaint this movie was really good and sweet. I think I might even add it to my favorites list *gasp!!* I honestly can't remember a movie that I've seen like it, so I won't compare it to a movie...

Bella

Bella was more like medio to me. It was fine, but its not a movie I could watch anymore than probably once. Although it was sweet, it was really, really slow moving. There were a lot of little things that I thought could have been left out. (ahem the Manny being adopted storyline... that didn't go anywhere, and it didn't matter). I did like the emphasis on family though. How a good family life when you're young totally affects the way you view families for the rest of your life. Nina tends to be more cautious about starting a family, afraid that she'll mess up the child's life because of her past. It makes me appreciate that I have grown up in a loving environment. This movie all in all is a feel good movie. You'll feel a little cheesed up afterwards, but it's pretty good.

Role Models

Hilarious goodness at its best right here. Well not best but "better" just didn't sound right in that sentence. Role Models was funny, medley sweet, and it had some medieval warriors. Yes, I am not joking you. (see up) The little one liners totally made this movie. My friends and I are going to quote this movie so many times we're going to forget where it came from. All of the characters are lovable and very funny. Sean William Scott's character Wheeler would have to be my favorite, but I cannot deny my love for Augie and Ronnie. Role Model kind of reminded me of Big Daddy, but with more vulgar jokes and these kids can already wipe there asses, they just need guidance in other areas (see picture up again). I would recommend it if you like the twisted sweet, but still pretty vulgar movies. It was definitely worth the trouble I had to take to get there.

A Walk To Remember

So it's winter vacation... and I'm sick. That provides for the perfect movie watching environment!! So last night, I foolishly watched A Walk to Remember. Wait though, not because it was baad. But because I was amazingly congested, and you shouldn't be if you are crying. Definitely watch this movie when you are healthy enough to cry without getting snot all over yourself. I thought it was a good movie, not a GREAT movie, but just sappy enough without being predictable. No, definitely not predictable. When you watch so many romance movies you can almost predict the plot line of the story without being 5 minutes into the movie, but A Walk To Remember did a good job of putting a little (well actually a big, sad) twist in there. I found the twist kind of sudden though. It's like whoa! At least give me a warning that my heart is going to fall out of my chest here? But yeah, over all a pretty good movie. The lead characters did a fantastic job in their roles. Not to mention I have a new crush on Mr. Shane West. If you're looking for a good movie to bawl your eyes out too, this would be a good choice.

I am Legend

I couldn't finish this movie. That shit really freaks me out. Also those diseased people were really, really freaky looking. I thought it was really over-rated. I know I heard a lot of people liked it but I didn't at all. It was too serious, and intense. I know that's some peoples thing, but its defiantly not mine. It's now one of my favorite Christmas movies. This movie's very Christmas Carol-esque. But I love the Christmas Carol too, so I guess I'm a little biased. But I loved the character of George Bailey, like I wanted to be Mary loved him. From an early point in the movie you got the point that he was a great guy, and he would never do anything to hurt anyone. In fact he would go to great lengths to make sure that nobody was suffering, even if it mean that he had to give a little (or a lot). George was determined to get out of town, but so many things kept him from getting away from Bedford Falls. First his father dies, and he has to take over the business so the rotten Potter didn't get control of the city. But that's only for four years, until his brother gets back from college then he's getting the hell out of dodge. But then more complications get in the way. He re-meets Mary. And after he sees her and talks to her again he knows that he couldn't leave her. So they stay in Bedford Falls. Have kids ect. Life goes on. George isn't getting out of Bedford Falls we know it. So he's convinced he hasn't done anything life changing. Hasn't effected anyone. So then he's pretty much at the end of his rope anyway, but then his uncle looses the money that they need to keep them from going bankrupt. (well he doesn't loose it but Potter has it and of course won't give it back). Then George decides that he's worth more dead than alive, so he plans to kill himself so that his company can get money. But not so fast his guardian angel comes along and makes it so that he's never been born. So they see what's happened to Bedford Falls (or Pottersville now) and basically without George the place had turned into a dump. Stripper joints everywhere. Ya know. Almost every one's in a worse place. So George realizes that he is worth something he has done something important even if he hasn't left Bedford Falls. The town raises the 8,000 dollars for him, no questions asked, Just George is in trouble. Everybody lives happily ever after. If that's not a feel good movie I don't know what is. I will admit I got some tears when they brought in the money at the end. It really makes you value your life a little bit more. It's a great message. Everything you do effects someone else's life path.

Simply having a wonderful christmas time.

I will write about movies/tv/books that I see/read/watch and tell you what I think about them, duh. And maybe music occasionally, depending if they're amazing or horrible. But anyway. I don't know how valuable my opinion will be to you, because some would say I have the taste of a 12 year old boy in movies. And some would say that I have the taste of a 30 year old single woman with absolutely no life. And some would say, well actually I think my tv taste is fine. But yeah those people have just been hit over the head with the better-taste-than-you stick. Yes there is one, you'll just have to trust me on that one. Anyway, I don't want to review anything right now, because I think reviews are better when you have just experienced whatever you're reviewing and the passion is fresh in your veins! *chuckles* Ok I must go watch The Dark Night again, and see how it is the second time. Just for the record I enjoyed it way too much the first time, just ask all of my friends. Jeesh I'm such a nerd. I'll tell you how it is don't worry. Oh and Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time is a genius Christmas song. Just thought I'd add that.
